Michelle Christensen received a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in 1993. Then in 2001 she completed the Three Year Advanced Shamanic Training with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. For many years she was intensively mentored by indigenous spiritual teachers, Malidoma and Sobonfu Some’ from Burkina Faso, and Lakota Medicine Man Phil Crazy Bull. During this period of intensive study, Michelle was initiated as a Reiki Master and Teacher, often combining this hands-on healing techniques with her work as a psychotherapist and Shamanic practitioner. Most recently, she completed 5 years of advanced training at the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute, earning the title of Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. Over the last 25 years, Michelle has mentored hundreds of students and treated thousands of clients. She has developed a unique powerful style of healing, working with traumatized individual providing integration for body mind and spirit.

Private sessions include Shamanic Counseling, Soul Retrieval, Cord Cutting, Work with death and dying, House and Land Clearing, Somatic Experiencing, and Reiki and Chakra Clearing. She teaches entry level shamanic classes, an Advanced Shamanic training course, and all levels of Reiki Training.
